Such a big decision for you and your loved one!

While it may appear that senior living centers are all similar in nature and provide much of the same in the way of activities and services, one of the things that stood out for me at Heritage Woods, was the continuity, and length of service, in the management staff (a combined total of over 110 years) who work closely together as a cohesive team. Together they foster a warm and friendly environment for the staff and residents alike; where everybody knows “your name”. As a frequent visitor, popping in at various times before the pandemic, I consistently found it to be spotless, warm, cheery, and inviting – always giving me a sense of peace and comfort knowing that my mom was part of the Heritage woods family. She loves it!

Throughout the pandemic, the staff worked long and countless hours to ensure every resident was kept safe, and at the same time the Director kept us apprised every step of the way through open dialogue and Zoom communication.  Every concern or question I had was answered to my satisfaction.

To think I thought there wasn’t a better place for my mom than with me to enjoy her senior years! I realize now what she would be missing! My mom and I are so happy we chose Heritage Woods!”

“Making the decision to move a loved one from their home to assisted living is not easy, but rest assured the moment you walk into Heritage Woods you realize it is home. The facility has a warm welcoming feel. The staff are friendly and engage with all the residents.

The pandemic changed the routine but the staff were amazing in making it as stress free and comfortable as possible. They worked diligently to protect all the residents and staff from Covid 19. virus.

My parents are very happy, when asked how they like living at Heritage Woods they always say how well treated they are, how nice all the staff are and how good the meals are.  We are very pleased with our decision to make Heritage Woods home sweet home.”

Nancy, daughter

“I am so very pleased with the staff and care given to my mother by everyone at Heritage Woods. They were especially diligent in keeping all residents safe during this most difficult time due to the outbreak of the CoronaVirus.

We were so pleased that my mother was given a lovely party on her 100th birthday!  Balloons and cake were enjoyed by all.  She was presented with flowers and a special gift. All residents attending sang happy birthday which helped to make her 100th birthday special.

Thank you everyone at Heritage Woods for all you do!”
